Poll Shows Public Skeptical of Ofer Winter's Pledge to Back Netanyahu
A recent poll conducted by "News 14" indicates that a majority of Israelis are unconvinced by Ofer Winter's commitment to exclusively support Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's candidacy for prime minister. The survey found that 42% of respondents do not believe Netanyahu can rely on Winter's sole support, while 35% think he can. An additional 23% of those polled had no opinion on the matter.
The poll's findings come in the wake of Winter's public statements since entering the political arena. Winter, who heads the "Am Israel" party, has repeatedly declared that his party aligns with the right-wing bloc and that Netanyahu is the leader of that bloc and the only candidate "Am Israel" will recommend for prime minister.
The seven-point gap between those who doubt Winter's pledge and those who believe it highlights a significant level of public skepticism regarding his political commitments.
