Israel's housing market experienced a slight 0.1% increase in prices in May-June 2026 compared to April-May, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). This period saw price fluctuations across regions, with Jerusalem rising 1.8%, the North 0.9%, and Haifa 1.5%. The Central region saw a 1.0% decrease, Tel Aviv 0.7%, and the South 0.7%.

In July, the housing price index rose by 0.3%. Despite these minor shifts, the overall trend indicates a slowdown in transactions and a year-on-year decline in apartment prices. A review of second-hand apartment sales over the past week, conducted with national brokerage networks, highlights specific transactions.

In Jerusalem, a 92-square-meter, four-room apartment on Moshe Kol Street in Ramat Beit Hakerem sold for 3.43 million shekels ($930,000). Another four-room apartment in North Talpiot on Hanoch Albeck Street, spanning 86 square meters, was sold for 3 million shekels ($815,000). Notably, a 2.5-room, 81-square-meter apartment on Hatikva Street in Yemin Moshe sold for 3.4 million shekels ($925,000).

Other sales included a four-room apartment in Tiberias for 860,000 shekels ($233,000), a five-room apartment in Ofakim for 1.735 million shekels ($470,000), and a three-room apartment in Rishon LeZion for 1.84 million shekels ($500,000). In Beersheba, three-room apartments sold for 985,000 shekels ($267,000) and 925,000 shekels ($251,000), while a four-room apartment sold for 1.43 million shekels ($388,000). The review included data from Anglo-Saxon and RE/MAX.
