Reality Star Guy Eitan Involved in Violent Dispute Over Real Estate Investment

Reality TV star Guy Eitan was caught on video in a violent confrontation with a businessman and real estate developer at a restaurant in central Israel, stemming from a financial dispute over an investment of approximately 2.5 million shekels. The incident, which occurred about three months ago, shows Eitan physically attacking the businessman, grabbing his neck and kicking him, while others try to separate them. Eitan also allegedly pulled a knife from his pocket, which the businessman claims was an attempt to stab him, though the knife was dropped.

The dispute centers on Eitan's investment in a real estate project in northern Tel Aviv. After the project failed, Eitan sought to recover his investment. The businessman said he repaid 49,000 shekels monthly for nearly four years but struggled to return the full amount at once. The conflict escalated when Eitan demanded the entire sum back, calling previous payments "interest."

Following the attack, the businessman filed a police complaint, prompting an investigation. He also alleges that criminal elements were sent to intimidate him during the dispute. His lawyer described the assault as severe and traumatizing. A day after the incident, Eitan apologized in a recorded phone call, expressing a desire to resolve the matter calmly.

Text messages between the two reveal ongoing tension, with Eitan warning the businessman about the consequences of their conflict and the businessman responding skeptically about any peaceful resolution. About six weeks after the attack, the businessman officially reported the case to the police. Eitan later publicly admitted to losing control due to being "cheated" by the businessman but denied acting professionally during the incident.
