Reality Star Guy Eitan Involved in Violent Dispute Over 2.5 Million Shekel Investment
Reality TV star Guy Eitan was recorded in a violent confrontation with a businessman and real estate developer at a restaurant in central Israel, stemming from a financial dispute over an investment of approximately 2.5 million shekels. The incident, which occurred about three months ago, shows Eitan physically attacking the businessman, grabbing his neck and kicking him, while others tried to separate them. Eitan was also seen pulling a sharp object from his pocket, which the businessman claims was a knife that Eitan attempted to use against him before it fell.
The dispute centers on Eitan’s investment in a real estate project in northern Tel Aviv. After the project failed, Eitan sought to recover his funds. The businessman stated he repaid Eitan 49,000 shekels monthly for nearly four years but struggled to return the full amount at once. The conflict escalated when Eitan demanded the entire sum back, calling previous payments interest. The businessman’s lawyer described the attack as severe and shocking.
A day after the altercation, Eitan called the businessman to apologize and suggested resolving the matter calmly. Meanwhile, the businessman alleges that criminal elements were sent to intimidate him during the dispute. His lawyer confirmed that he faced threats from leaders of both Jewish and Arab crime organizations.
About six weeks after the incident, the businessman filed a police complaint, prompting an investigation that includes the restaurant footage. Eitan initially declined to comment through his lawyers but later posted online admitting he lost control due to being "scammed" by the businessman and acknowledged his inappropriate behavior during the incident.
