Two Jericho Residents Arrested for Attempting to Smuggle Guns Across Jordan Border

Two men in their twenties from Jericho were arrested near the Adam Bridge in the Jordan Valley after attempting to smuggle ten handguns across the border with Jordan, according to police reports. The incident followed suspicious movement detected by Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) observers in the area near the Jordan border. The IDF conducted searches and set up roadblocks on nearby routes to prevent illegal border crossings. The two suspects were found after a ground investigation revealed a bag containing the firearms.
