IDF Kills Hamas Terrorist Who Crossed Into Israel in October Attack
Amid escalating tensions in Gaza and renewed kite terrorism, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted a strike overnight between Sunday and Monday targeting two Hamas operatives in the Deir al-Balah area of central Gaza. One of the militants, identified as Mohammed Abd al-Nasser Gabar Abu Asad, a member of Hamas's military wing involved in the October 7 massacre, was killed in the attack.
According to the IDF spokesperson, both terrorists had recently been advancing terror plans against Israeli forces and civilians and were attempting to rebuild Hamas's operational capabilities, violating the ceasefire agreement systematically. The strike aimed to eliminate the immediate threat posed by these militants.
The IDF Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area as per the ceasefire agreement and will continue operations to neutralize any imminent threats to Israel.
