Former MK Roy Folkman Joins Gadi Eizenkot's Yashar Party Ahead of Elections

Former Member of Knesset Roy Folkman, who previously led the Kulanu faction under Moshe Kahlon, officially announced his joining of Gadi Eizenkot's Yashar party on Monday. This move follows reports that Folkman left the circle of Gilad Erdan after receiving invitations from Eizenkot's party to join its ranks ahead of the upcoming Knesset elections.

Folkman stated that he joined Yashar because Israel needs a professional and national leadership capable of turning plans into action. Drawing on his parliamentary experience, he emphasized the importance of hard work, knowledge, and the willingness to overcome obstacles and interests to achieve real change. He expressed confidence in Eizenkot's leadership to restore dignity to the Knesset, strengthen public service, and refocus national interests in decision-making.

Eizenkot praised Folkman as a professional and diligent parliamentarian with extensive political experience and a deep understanding of government systems.
