Opposition leader Yair Lapid told the Yachad faction meeting that the IDF had met its objectives, while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had not. Lapid said, "There has never been a more complete failure," adding that the Netanyahu of five years ago would not have reached this situation.
He argued that Netanyahu has grown weaker and is vulnerable to pressure, and claimed there is no one around him who knows how to conduct a diplomatic campaign. Lapid also said that a U.S. president is telling Netanyahu, "I am your boss."
Lapid concluded by saying, "It is time for another government."
