Israeli-American Center Gabe Wiznitzer Joins Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona Basketball Team
Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona announced the signing of 26-year-old Israeli-American center Gabe Wiznitzer to strengthen their frontcourt ahead of the upcoming season. Wiznitzer, standing 2.11 meters tall, is expected to join coach Doug Spradley's roster in the coming days. He is a graduate of Ohio University, where in the 2023/24 season he averaged 3.1 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.
Following his college career, Wiznitzer played professionally in the Czech Republic's top league and last season competed with the Montreal Tundra in the Canadian league. The addition of Wiznitzer reflects Be'er Sheva/Dimona's ongoing efforts to build a competitive squad for the Israeli Basketball Premier League.
