IDF and Shin Bet Eliminate Hamas Weapons Manufacturing Commander in Gaza Strike

In a joint operation early Sunday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet targeted and killed Ismail Abu Ful, who commanded a Hamas weapons manufacturing site in the Al-Maghazi area of Gaza. Abu Ful was directly involved in assembling explosive devices and anti-tank missiles for Hamas. The strike aimed to neutralize a tangible security threat by eliminating both the commander and the weapons production facility itself.

The site was located near a humanitarian aid distribution point operated by an international organization, highlighting Hamas's systematic use of civilian infrastructure, including humanitarian centers, to conceal and facilitate terrorist activities. Israeli security officials emphasized that these actions by Hamas violate the ceasefire agreement and represent ongoing efforts to rebuild and strengthen its military capabilities against IDF forces and Israeli civilians.

This targeted killing and destruction of the weapons site underscore Israel's commitment to preventing Hamas from rearming and launching attacks from Gaza, particularly along the so-called "yellow line" separating Israeli and Gaza territories.
