The story · English

On Thursday, a wedding celebration was held for the granddaughter of Yeshivat Kisei Rahamim head Rabbi Tzvi Mazuz, the daughter of his son-in-law Rabbi Aharon Mazuz, a teacher at the yeshiva and rabbi of the Ish Matzliach community in Bnei Brak. The groom was Rahamim Eliyahu Amoyal, one of the top students at the large Kisei Rahamim yeshiva, and the grandson of Rabbi Rahamim Eliyahu Mazuz, a senior rabbi at the yeshiva, whose 30-day mourning period was marked last week. He is also the son of Rabbi Raphael Amoyal, one of the rabbis and members of the Har Matzliach institute.

The wedding took place at the Dodaim hall in Bnei Brak. Rabbi Tzvi Mazuz, the bride’s grandfather, was honored with officiating the chuppah and kiddushin, while Rabbi Eliyahu Mazuz, the newly elected rabbi of Katzrin, was honored with reading the ketubah.

Before the celebration ended, the groom released a booklet titled "Seder HaMa'arakha," containing hundreds of halachic and aggadic essays and rules. The booklet’s main signatory of approval was the yeshiva head himself.

At the close of the event, Kisei Rahamim students formed a special dance and sang "Tze'khem LeShalom" to Rabbi Tzvi Mazuz and his son, Rabbi Matityahu Chai Mazuz, who is among the yeshiva’s leading teachers and heads a halachic court, as they left directly for Ben Gurion Airport to begin a new fundraising and encouragement trip to the United States. The trip resumed after being interrupted about a month earlier by mourning for Rabbi Rahamim Mazuz’s sudden death, and it is expected to last about two weeks.
