Machnovka Belz Rebbe to Attend Granddaughter’s Wedding for Only 45 Minutes

Hundreds of Machnovka Belz Hasidim are eagerly preparing to celebrate the wedding of the Rebbe’s first granddaughter, taking place this evening at the Hasidic center in Bnei Brak. The bride is the daughter of Rabbi Israel Maskowitz, grandson of the Rebbe, while the groom is the son of Rabbi Shalom Rokach, linking prominent Hasidic dynasties including Meirlo and Nadvorna Jerusalem.

A special invitation was sent to all Hasidim, signed by the Rebbe’s representative, Rabbi Israel Miller. According to the published schedule, the Rebbe will arrive for the reception at 6:00 PM, with the wedding ceremony (chuppah) at 7:30 PM. The Rebbe will enter the main celebration hall at 9:30 PM but will only participate in the wedding festivities for 45 minutes, leaving after the Birkat Hamazon blessing at 10:15 PM.

Following the Rebbe’s departure, dancing and celebrations for the groom will continue, culminating in the mitzvah dance (mitzvah tanz) at 11:15 PM. The limited attendance time of the Rebbe has surprised many Hasidim, who anticipated a longer presence at this significant family event.

This wedding is a major occasion for the Machnovka Belz community, intertwining several distinguished Hasidic families and marking a milestone for the Rebbe’s lineage.
