Man Breaks Into Elderly Woman's Home in Kiryat Bialik, Steals Phone and Flees

In an unusual incident in Kiryat Bialik, a 45-year-old man broke into the home of an elderly couple. The female victim, born in 1935 and reliant on an oxygen balloon, was asleep in the living room when the intruder entered. According to the investigation, the suspect took a mobile phone that was near the woman. Shortly after, while leaving the apartment, he encountered the woman's son. Instead of hiding, he told him, "I just came to eat," and then fled the scene.

The incident was reported to the Zevulun police station, which opened an investigation. Police investigators and forensic teams collected evidence at the scene, leading to the identification and arrest of the suspect, a resident of Kiryat Bialik. Following his interrogation, he was detained. Authorities stated they had gathered sufficient evidence linking him to the break-in and theft.

The Zevulun prosecution filed charges against the man for residential burglary and theft, along with a request to keep him in custody until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
