Motorcyclist Dies in Fatal Collision Near Kiryat Ono on Route 471
A motorcyclist in his 60s was killed on Thursday in a collision with a car on Route 471 near the Ono interchange in the Sharon region. The incident occurred around 14:50, when emergency services received the report. Paramedics from Magen David Adom, including paramedic Gefen Osishkin and senior motorcycle medics Netanel Engel and Eyal Atiya, arrived to find the rider unconscious and without a pulse, suffering severe injuries. Despite advanced resuscitation efforts at the scene, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead.
The police have launched an investigation into the fatal traffic accident involving a private vehicle and the motorcycle. Traffic investigators from the Sharon district are handling the case. At this stage, the identity of the deceased motorcyclist has not been released. The medical authorities confirmed the death at the scene.
