A motorcyclist in his mid-20s was killed Saturday evening in a crash on Route 4 near the Aluf Sadeh interchange. The collision involved an off-duty private car parked on the shoulder, and emergency services said the rider was found in critical condition and later died at Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer.
The first emergency call came in at about 8:52 p.m. According to initial reports, the motorcycle struck a private vehicle standing by the side of the road. Responders described the rider as unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing, with severe multi-system injuries.
Yishai Mor, a volunteer from Hatzalah Yehuda and Shomron and MDA, said he arrived first and found the rider lying on the road. He said medics immediately began advanced resuscitation, including chest compressions and medication. MDA paramedic Keren Chen and medic Ronald Kaikob said they performed prolonged CPR and evacuated him in critical condition while fighting for his life. Hatzalah medics Dudi Blui and Menachem Zinger also said they found the 24-year-old unconscious and that his death was later pronounced at the hospital.
Israel Police said Tel Aviv District traffic investigators are handling the scene and have opened a broad probe into the circumstances. ZAKA teams assisted at the site. Officials noted this was the second fatal crash on Route 4 in this area in recent days, after several serious accidents were recorded there last week.
