A 24-year-old motorcyclist was critically injured on Saturday evening in a crash on Highway 4 near the Aluf Sade Interchange, after colliding with a private car. Emergency crews treated him at the scene and rushed him to Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, while continuing prolonged resuscitation efforts.
According to the initial reports, the rider was found in life-threatening condition at the scene with multiple-system trauma. The article says he was evacuated in critical condition while CPR was still underway.
United Hatzalah medics Benjamin Fischel and Netanel Alharar, who arrived first, said they provided initial treatment and carried out resuscitation before the transfer. They said the motorcyclist was taken to Sheba Tel Hashomer “in life-threatening condition” and with continued CPR.
MDA paramedic Keren Chen and medic Ronald Kaykov described finding the rider lying in the middle of the road, unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, and with severe injuries after being struck by a car. They said they performed life-saving treatment and continued resuscitation en route, adding that they were “fighting for his life.” Hatzalah medics Dudi Blui and Menachem Zinger said the young rider had suffered multiple injuries after hitting a car and was taken to the hospital still undergoing CPR.
