Israeli Man Missing in Japan for Three Weeks as Search Continues
Amir Ambarbar, a 23-year-old Israeli from Ramla, has been missing in Japan since early August. He left Israel on April 20 and entered Japan on August 2, after which his whereabouts became unknown. The Israeli consulate in Tokyo and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' department for Israelis in distress are coordinating with his family and Japanese authorities to locate him. The police received family permission only recently to publicly announce his disappearance and have asked the public for assistance in the search. Ambarbar is described as approximately 1.70 meters tall, slim build, with brown hair and black eyes. Efforts to find him are ongoing.
