Authorities in northern Israel are urgently searching for Nachman Keinan, a 24-year-old man who has been missing for a week under serious life-threatening concerns. The search is being conducted by the Yedidim Search and Rescue Unit alongside the Northern District Police, who have appealed to the public for assistance.

Keinan was last seen on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Guy Beach in Tiberias while en route to the city of Safed. Since then, there has been no trace of him, prompting deep worry for his safety. He is described as 1.72 meters tall with light skin, brown eyes, and a black beard. He wears thin metal-framed glasses and was dressed in traditional Chabad attire, including a Moshiach pin.

The public is urged to remain vigilant and share his photo widely. Anyone with information about Keinan’s whereabouts is requested to contact the Yedidim hotline at 1230 from any phone or reach out to the police immediately. The search continues with high urgency given the immediate danger to his life.
