Search Intensifies for Missing Special Needs Man in Bnei Brak After Nearly Three Days

Israel Mordechai Stern, a 25-year-old man with special needs from Bnei Brak, has been missing since Thursday morning, prompting extensive search efforts that continue nearly three days later. Stern, who does not communicate with his surroundings, left his home on Thursday and has not been heard from since, raising serious concerns among his family, rescue organizations, and volunteers.

Since Thursday evening, dozens of volunteers from various rescue groups have been conducting searches using advanced equipment, including drones and other tracking technologies. The search has covered open areas, streets, buildings, and locations where Stern might have gone. Efforts continued throughout the Sabbath, with hundreds of yeshiva students from the Gur Hasidic community joining police and United Hatzalah volunteers in wide-ranging searches.

A special command center was established by the Ali Siyach organization in cooperation with the Israel Police at 41 Yarkon Street in Bnei Brak to coordinate the search activities and manage volunteer deployment. Authorities emphasize the urgency of the situation and call on the public to remain vigilant. Stern is described as approximately 1.76 meters tall, light-skinned, and wearing clear-framed glasses.

The police and rescue organizations urge anyone who has seen a person matching Stern’s description or who has any information to immediately contact the Israel Police emergency number 100. The family, volunteers, and rescue teams remain hopeful that any new information will lead to Stern’s safe return home.
