Israeli Police and Volunteers Search for Missing Special Needs Man in Bnei Brak

Israel Mordechai Stern, a 25-year-old man with special needs from Bnei Brak, has been missing since Thursday after leaving his home. Authorities and hundreds of volunteers have been conducting extensive searches throughout the city, including stairwells, buildings, and streets where he might have passed. The search continued over the Sabbath following instructions from local rabbis, but no significant leads or contact with Stern have been established.

Stern's family expressed deep concern due to his special needs, noting that he does not communicate and is disoriented regarding time and place, which heightens the urgency of the search. The Israeli Police issued an official statement requesting public assistance in locating him. A joint command post was set up on Yarkon Street in Bnei Brak, coordinating efforts between police, volunteer units, and the 'Ali Shiach' organization.

Described as 1.76 meters tall with light skin and wearing transparent-framed glasses, anyone with information about Stern's whereabouts is urged to contact the police emergency number 100 immediately. Authorities emphasize that even seemingly minor details could be crucial to finding him and ensuring his safe return home.
