Ashkelon Man Arrested for Pepper-Spraying Clerk in Yavne Gas Station Robbery

A man in his twenties from Ashkelon was arrested on suspicion of robbing thousands of shekels from a gas station convenience store in Yavne by spraying pepper spray at the clerk. The Israeli police reported that officers from the Yavne station responded promptly to the robbery report, launched an investigation, and used investigative tools to locate the suspect. During his arrest, authorities found evidence linking him to this incident as well as several other cases. The suspect was taken in for questioning and will be brought to court for a detention extension request to continue the investigation.
