Yuval Banai and Orli Zilbershatz become grandparents for the first time
Musician Yuval Banai, 64, and actress Orli Zilbershatz, 68, have become grandparents for the first time after their daughter, Amalia Zilbershatz Banai, and her partner Dan Deutsch gave birth to a baby boy, their first child. The family celebrated the arrival of the newborn, marking a new milestone for the couple.
Zilbershatz shared the news on her Instagram account with a photo from the hospital of herself and Banai next to their first grandchild. She captioned the image, in Hebrew, "Meet the grandparents," expressing her excitement over the birth.
Banai and Zilbershatz’s son, Elisha Banai, also visited the hospital and documented the emotional moment when his sister held her baby for the first time. The newborn is the first grandchild for both parents of Amalia.
The family has had other recent celebrations as well. Elisha Banai, 37, married his partner Maya Bar-Sheesht, 26, in February, just one month after the couple became engaged.
