Nine Injured After Hazardous Chemical Spill at Kiryat Gat Public Pool

A hazardous materials incident occurred at the municipal swimming pool in Kiryat Gat when approximately 100 liters of hydrochloric acid were spilled. Emergency teams, including firefighters and rescue personnel, were dispatched to the scene to manage the situation. They are conducting area monitoring with specialized detectors, diluting the acid, and working to neutralize the danger.

Nine individuals have been treated for exposure to the hazardous substance, with five of them transported to the hospital for further care. Firefighters are also searching for any additional victims and continue to operate at the site until the risk is fully eliminated.
