Children's Star Miki Ma Nismiki Pauses Show in Safed to Support Missing Girl Heymenot Kasao's Mother

On Monday night in Safed, popular children's performer Michal Mukhtar, known as Miki Ma Nismiki, stopped her show after spotting Heymenot Kasao's mother in the audience. Overcome with emotion, Mukhtar invited the mother onstage and tearfully expressed her ongoing prayers for Heymenot's safe return, saying, "There is not a day that your daughter is not in my prayers. I wish your heart will be happy." Heymenot's mother shared that while others left the absorption center where they lived, they remained, urging the public to continue praying for her daughter.

Mukhtar recounted her personal connection to the case, recalling how she prayed daily for the return of Sharon Cunio and her two daughters from captivity, hoping one day to reunite onstage with Heymenot. She emphasized the importance of faith and blessings during the month of Elul, hoping for miracles and mercy. Heymenot's mother also addressed the crowd, pleading, "Pray, do not forget Heymenot," highlighting her constant longing and concern for her missing daughter.

Heymenot Kasao, aged nine, was last seen on February 25, 2024, around 7:30 p.m., distributing flyers for a local election candidate near the absorption center in Safed where she lived. Security camera footage captured her last known movements before she disappeared. More than two years later, despite a 350,000 shekel reward and involvement of major security agencies, no significant leads have emerged. The family continues to await any information that could shed light on Heymenot's disappearance and bring her home.

Mukhtar also praised former beauty queen Titi Aynaw for her efforts to raise public awareness about Heymenot's case. The emotional encounter in Safed underscores the ongoing community and family anguish over the unresolved disappearance of the young girl.
