Four-Year-Old Boy from Toldot Aharon Dies After Being Hit by Car in Beit Shemesh
A four-year-old boy named Asher Anshel Fish from the Toldot Aharon Hasidic community in Beit Shemesh was fatally struck by a vehicle on Hanina Street near his home in the Ramat D neighborhood. Asher Anshel was the only child of Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Fish, a prominent member of the Toldot Aharon community in Beit Shemesh, and his wife, a granddaughter of Rabbi Moshe Bruin. The family had recently moved from Jerusalem to Beit Shemesh two months ago.
Magen David Adom paramedics provided advanced medical treatment and performed prolonged resuscitation efforts at the scene, but the boy was pronounced dead due to multiple traumatic injuries. Paramedics Avitar Yamin, Roy Ben Shoham, and senior medic Yehoshua Gottlieb reported finding the child unconscious, without pulse or breathing, lying in the middle of the road.
Volunteers from ZAKA Jerusalem district, Beit Shemesh team, are managing the scene with respect and collecting evidence. Legal representatives from ZAKA are supporting the boy’s parents at Shaare Zedek Medical Center and coordinating with authorities to complete necessary procedures. The funeral date will be announced later. The community mourns the tragic loss of the young boy.
