Jerusalem Hosts Diverse Family Events During Bein Hazmanim School Break

During this year's Bein Hazmanim school break in Jerusalem, a variety of unique activities were organized for city residents, encouraging outdoor engagement and community participation. Over three days, the Ein Hemed National Park hosted a family festival featuring performances, creative workshops, and children's activities throughout the day. Nearby, the newly opened Mega Zone challenge park near Beit Shemesh also offered three days of family-oriented events, including zip lines, laser tag, and other adventure attractions.

In addition to these larger venues, local neighborhoods held their own events, such as the conclusion ceremonies for the "Our Youth" programs, activities for children in the "The Persistent" group, community trips, and programs for yeshiva students and children. The initiative was led by Jerusalem City Council member David Blumenstock, who aimed to balance large-scale events with neighborhood-level activities to support families throughout the vacation period.
