Former MK Avir Kara in Advanced Talks to Join Hili Trooper’s Zionist Party

Advanced negotiations are underway between Hili Trooper, chairman of the Zionist Home-Militia Party, and former minister and MK Avir Kara regarding Kara’s potential joining of Trooper’s party. Several discussions have taken place recently, with Trooper’s party viewing Kara as a figure who could strengthen the party’s economic platform and broaden its appeal to self-employed individuals and business owners.

Avir Kara, a founding member of the "Shulmanim" protest movement, previously served as a member of the Knesset and deputy minister in the Prime Minister’s Office. He is known for his advocacy against bureaucracy, reducing regulation, and supporting entrepreneurs. While Kara is also considering offers from other parties, the talks with Trooper are reportedly the most significant.

The Zionist Home-Militia Party declined to comment on the closed-door talks but emphasized ongoing communications with many individuals. The party’s stated goal is to build a significant Zionist force capable of winning elections and ensuring the formation of a Zionist government.
