Brazilian Defender Marcio Silva Signs With Hapoel Ramat Gan

Hapoel Ramat Gan has signed 25-year-old Brazilian defender Marcio Silva as part of their efforts to complete the squad for the upcoming season. Silva, who can play in both central defense positions, developed in the youth systems of Palmeiras and Coritiba. He made his senior debut with Coritiba and was loaned to Botafogo São Paulo. In March, he transferred to Ponte Preta in Brazil's second division, where he made 26 appearances across all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist.

If Silva joins the team, Hapoel Ramat Gan will be the first club outside Brazil in his professional career. He brings experience from Brazil's top two leagues, notable physical presence, and is left-footed. Silva will join the team immediately and is expected to be the club's seventh foreign player as he begins training with them under coach Masai Dago.
