After a difficult season with Maccabi Haifa, סוף Podgorao is heading to a new destination. The winger signed today, Wednesday, a four-year contract with Kortrijk, the newly promoted side to Belgium's top division, on a salary of 300,000 euros per season. The move was first reported on the Sports Channel.
Podgorao himself said: "I am very happy to sign with Kortrijk. From the very first conversations, I felt a lot of trust from the club. I look forward to getting to know my teammates, working hard and experiencing success together with the fans."
As a reminder, Podgorao has already played abroad, when he played for the Dutch side Heracles and delivered good performances there with one goal and five assists in 32 league appearances.
