Good Salary. Official: Podgoreanu’s New Club
The 24-year-old winger is joining a club in the Belgian league on a four-year deal.
After a difficult season with Maccabi Haifa, סוף Podgoreanu has reached a new destination. The winger signed today, Wednesday, a four-year contract with Kortrijk, the newly promoted team in Belgium's top division, for a salary of 300,000 euros per season. The move was first reported on Sport 5.
Podgoreanu himself said: "I am very happy to sign with Kortrijk. From the very first conversations, I felt a lot of trust from the club. I look forward to getting to know my teammates, working hard and experiencing success together with the fans."
As a reminder, Podgoreanu has already played abroad, when he featured for Dutch side Heracles and showed good ability there, scoring one goal and providing five assists in 32 league appearances. In addition, the player also played for Spezia in the Italian league, but made only 5 appearances there and did not make an impact.
