Maccabi Tel Aviv Forward Younes Melida Joins Hapoel Be'er Sheva on Three-Year Deal
Younes Melida, a forward previously with Maccabi Tel Aviv, has officially signed a three-year contract with Hapoel Be'er Sheva. The transfer fee was approximately 100,000 euros. Melida struggled for playing time at Maccabi Tel Aviv, appearing only 168 minutes in league matches last season and totaling 16 appearances and two goals during his tenure.
Hapoel Be'er Sheva announced the signing ahead of critical UEFA Champions League playoff matches against Azerbaijani club Sabah. Melida expressed excitement about joining the reigning Israeli champions and pledged to help the team achieve its important goals this season.
During his time at Maccabi Tel Aviv, Melida was part of squads that won two league titles (2023/24, 2024/25), the State Cup (2025/26), the Toto Cup (2024/25), and the Super Cup (2026/27).
