Younes Melida Joins Israeli Champions Hapoel Be'er Sheva in Surprising Transfer
Younes Melida, the 26-year-old striker who played for Maccabi Tel Aviv over the past two and a half years, has officially signed with Hapoel Be'er Sheva for the next three seasons. Melida joined Maccabi Tel Aviv in January 2024 from Belgian club Mechelen for a transfer fee of 350,000 euros but saw limited playing time and was not included in the squad for any matches at the start of the current season. Hapoel Be'er Sheva announced that Melida will be part of their squad for upcoming matches against Azerbaijani champions Sabah. After signing, Melida expressed his excitement and gratitude for the trust placed in him by the club's coaching staff, emphasizing the important goals ahead and his commitment to achieving them with his new teammates.
