Israeli Kibbutz Counselor Indicted for Sexual Abuse of Six Boys

The Central District Prosecutor's Office has filed charges against 30-year-old Eitan Shahar, a counselor at a kibbutz in the Shfela region, accusing him of sexually abusing six boys he supervised over approximately two years. According to the indictment, starting in 2024, Shahar committed indecent acts against boys in seventh and eighth grades during multiple occasions while performing his duties. The allegations include exposing his genitals to the boys and physically pressing and rubbing against them, often while transporting them around the kibbutz or while at the swimming pool.
