Hapoel Jerusalem Demands Transfer Compensation for Kadyn Carrington from Hapoel Tel Aviv

Following Kadyn Carrington's transfer from Hapoel Jerusalem to Hapoel Tel Aviv, the Jerusalem-based basketball club is demanding transfer or development fees in accordance with the Israeli Basketball Association's league regulations. Carrington played four consecutive seasons with Hapoel Jerusalem, and the rules entitle a club to compensation if a player has been with them for at least three continuous seasons in the Premier League. Hapoel Jerusalem sent a letter to Hapoel Tel Aviv requesting the signed agreement to assess the amount owed. In response, Hapoel Tel Aviv owner Ofer Yanai told Sport 5 that Jerusalem could offset any claim against what they owe him for an incident involving leaving the court during the quarterfinals of the State Cup.
