Two Teens Charged with Arson of Japanese Restaurant in Givatayim

The Tel Aviv District Prosecutor's Office has filed charges against Hanan Yaakov and Osher Bayekh, both 18 years old from Rehovot, for setting fire to a Japanese restaurant branch in Givatayim about a month ago. According to the indictment, the two prepared by acquiring an electric scooter, plastic bottles filled with flammable liquid, and ignition tools. They concealed their identities and set the restaurant ablaze at around 4:00 a.m. while an employee was still inside the premises. After igniting the fire, the suspects fled the scene immediately.
