István Pisont, the Hungarian midfielder who starred for Beitar Jerusalem in the 1990s and helped the team win two consecutive championships, arrived in Vienna ahead of Beitar Jerusalem's match against Austria Vienna on Thursday at 21:30. Pisont joined the Beitar fans' bus in Budapest and traveled with them directly to the Generali Arena in Vienna, receiving a warm and enthusiastic welcome from supporters.

Pisont also had a successful stint with Hapoel Tel Aviv, winning a domestic double and participating in a notable UEFA Cup run where the team faced top clubs like Chelsea and Parma. In a video shared on social media, Pisont was asked which goal was more important to him: the one he scored against Parma with Hapoel Tel Aviv or the goal against Beitar's rival Beit She'an in May 1998. He chose the latter, a decisive goal that secured Beitar Jerusalem's top position one round before the season's end, contributing to their championship win in what became known as the "Shoelace Game."
