Olympic Medalist Avishag Samberg and Ivan Denisov Eliminated from Dancing with the Stars

Avishag Samberg, an Olympic medalist, and her dance partner Ivan Denisov were eliminated from the Israeli edition of "Dancing with the Stars" after finishing last in the audience voting on Wednesday night. Despite consistently impressive and technically strong performances throughout the season, including a well-received pasodoble that earned them 31 points from the judges and a total of 65 points, the pair could not secure enough public support to continue.

Samberg, who came into the competition with no prior dance experience, surprised both judges and viewers by revealing a softer, more feminine side contrasting with her tough athletic background. She dedicated herself fully to rehearsals and steadily improved week by week, impressing with her technical skills and stage presence.

Their departure came after a special surprise guest challenge, where Samberg's husband, Nimrod Kravitzky, appeared to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Reflecting on her journey, Samberg expressed gratitude and joy, saying, "It was an amazing experience, and I enjoyed it immensely. I want to thank Ivan and the production team. I learned to dance and am happy I got here."
