Samberg noted that while she expected judges to appreciate her technical abilities more than the audience, the opposite happened, with viewers recognizing the nuances of her dancing. She shared that many people, including old acquaintances, have reached out to her on social media, expressing support. Denisov added that professional dancers have praised Samberg’s technical level.

Reflecting on the contrast with her Olympic experience, Samberg said she did not anticipate much public reaction then, as her focus was purely on sport and representing Israel. Now, she feels exposed in a new way, revealing personal struggles and a softer side previously unseen. The duo is intensifying their choreography and tricks for the live shows, with Samberg rapidly mastering new steps.

Samberg admitted her shoulders remain a recurring challenge in her performances, requiring constant work. Facing potential elimination alongside another couple, she was particularly anxious about judge Eli’s critique, which she felt was harsher than others. Denisov expressed emotional support for his own partner Nicole, who was recently eliminated, emphasizing their camaraderie rather than rivalry.

Samberg believes she is gradually unveiling more sensitivity and femininity in her dancing, with more facets yet to emerge as the competition progresses.
