Netanyahu Calls Lawmaker's Son Minutes Before Complex Open-Heart Surgery to Offer Support

Boaz Bismuth, chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, revealed in an interview on Channel 14 that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made an unexpected phone call to his son just minutes before a complex open-heart surgery. Bismuth shared that his son, Dudi, has undergone two open-heart surgeries and three catheterizations throughout his life, with the first surgery performed when he was only three days old. Before the second major surgery, Netanyahu personally reached out to speak directly with Dudi to encourage and strengthen him during the difficult moments leading up to the operation. The call lasted about ten minutes, during which Netanyahu offered words of support to Bismuth's son. Separately, journalist Amit Segal commented on Netanyahu's chances of being re-elected as prime minister.
