Iranian parliament speaker blames U.S. after Israeli strike in Beirut
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf reacted on X to Israel's strike in Beirut, saying the attack on Dahiyeh showed again that America lacks either the will or the ability to fulfill its commitments.
Ghalibaf said that giving the regime a green light cannot produce concessions. He also dismissed what he called the bad cop, good cop game as outdated.
In his post, he added that if Washington lacks the will and the ability to meet its obligations, then there can be no discussion of the next steps. The comments were made after the Israeli attack in Beirut's Dahiyeh district.
