Cal Credit Card Company Appoints Former MaccabiDent CEO and Bank Leumi Executive to Leadership

Cal's board of directors approved two key executive appointments on Tuesday. Tony Cohen was named deputy CEO and head of the Customer Experience and Partners Division, while Zoharit Yogev was appointed vice president and head of the Business Customers Division. Both appointments are pending approval from the Bank of Israel. Cohen replaces Lital Wexler, who resigned as head of the Resources and Customer Experience Division amid internal company tensions. Cohen previously served five years as CEO of MaccabiDent, part of Maccabi Healthcare Services, and held senior marketing roles at Maccabi Healthcare and Migdal Insurance. In her new role, Cohen will oversee service, customer experience, digital operations, and relations with banking and non-banking partners.

Yogev succeeds Odelia Moshe Ostrovski, who also stepped down. Yogev was formerly deputy head of the Mortgage Division at Bank Leumi and has led private customer and credit risk management teams there. The Business Customers Division manages Cal's business sector activities, including business credit, payments, and the factoring company Yatzil. These leadership changes are part of a broader restructuring under CEO Yafit Griani, who took office at the end of 2023 after serving as deputy CEO and head of Business Customers at Isracard. Griani expressed confidence that Cohen and Yogev's professional experience and personal skills will significantly contribute to Cal's growth, and thanked Wexler and Ostrovski for their service.
