Trump Affirms Strong Ties with Netanyahu Amid Gaza Plan Dispute

US President Donald Trump addressed the recent disagreement with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over a 15-point plan concerning the Gaza conflict. Speaking at a White House event on Monday, Trump was asked about Netanyahu's rejection of the plan and said he would release his response in the future. When questioned about his relationship with Netanyahu, Trump emphasized that it remains "very good."

In addition to the Gaza issue, Trump commented on the situation with Iran, asserting that the US fully controls the Strait of Hormuz and prevents Iranian access. He described Iran as economically weak and unable to pay its citizens. Regarding Iran's demand for reparations for damages from past conflicts, Trump stated that the US would also seek compensation for damages caused by Iran over the last 50 years.

Trump briefly responded to a question about his previous statement calling the current moment Iran's "last chance" for a deal, saying the public would have to wait and see. Domestically, Trump intensified his rhetoric against far-left Democratic candidates, labeling them "jihadists" for the first time, a shift from his earlier use of "communists." He also announced a new health policy that no longer recommends COVID-19 vaccinations for children.
