New VIP Lounge Opens at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport Terminal 3 with $100 Entry Fee

A new VIP lounge has opened at Terminal 3 of Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv as of Monday. The lounge is operated by Layam, part of the Teddy Sagi group, and Jetex from the United Arab Emirates, which manages luxury lounges and private aviation terminals in over 40 global destinations. Covering 250 square meters near the duty-free area and synagogue, the lounge features an Israeli menu led by chef Eitan Mizrahi, desserts by pastry chef Dudu Otmazgin, work and relaxation zones, and a bar with international alcohol brands. Entry costs $100 per person for travelers without complimentary access.

Complimentary access is granted to premium class passengers, eligible loyalty club members, American Express luxury cardholders (with physical card), and business class passengers of foreign airlines such as Etihad, British Airways, and Air France operating at Ben Gurion. Additional strategic clients include members of the Israeli Medical Association and other institutional partners. The lounge’s interior was designed by Michael Azulay Studio and architect Yaara Goner from the Teddy Sagi group, featuring warm earth tones, natural materials like wood, stone, and brass, and soft lighting. The design incorporates diagonal lines to create a sense of movement and spaciousness. Facilities include quiet workstations, private seating areas, charging outlets at every seat, high-speed Wi-Fi, and spaces suitable for business meetings.

Layam and Jetex also plan to launch a digital customer club for booking services, flight tracking, and earning benefits before arriving at the airport. The companies won a six-year concession last year from the Israel Airports Authority to operate two lounges at Ben Gurion, beating competitors including the Fattal Group and Aviapartner. The luxury lounge sector at Ben Gurion generated over 85 million shekels in revenue in 2025.

Alongside the new lounge, the Fattal Terminal operates a private terminal at Ben Gurion offering check-in, security, baggage handling, and shuttle services to and from the aircraft, with prices starting at $545 plus VAT for the first passenger. The second lounge by Layam and Jetex, spanning 370 square meters, is expected to open within months.
