Rare 80-Hour Audio Archive of Rabbi Zvi Yehuda Kook's Pre-1967 Lectures Discovered

Rabbi Yosef Alnakawa has received an extraordinary collection of 80 hours of previously unpublished lectures by Rabbi Zvi Yehuda Kook, known as the Ratzia, including rare audio reels from before the Six-Day War. The recordings, which document teachings from various periods, were handed over by Mrs. Sarah Eisner, wife of Rabbi Beni Eisner, who originally recorded the early sessions. Rabbi Alnakawa explained that these early recordings predate the materials used by Rabbi Aviner to compile books based on the Ratzia's lessons.

Among the collection is a notable lecture from 1968 (Hebrew year 5728), in which Rabbi Kook reads from his book "Linetivot Yisrael" and elaborates on its content. The archive represents a significant treasure trove of dozens of hours of teachings from the head of the yeshiva, preserved over decades and now made accessible to the public. Mrs. Eisner entrusted Rabbi Alnakawa with the tapes to share these important teachings with the wider Israeli public, fulfilling a mission to benefit the people of Israel.

Rabbi Alnakawa highlighted that the recordings include series of lessons from different times, offering a rare glimpse into the early period of Rabbi Kook's educational work. This discovery enriches the historical and spiritual heritage connected to one of Israel's prominent religious leaders.
