Jerusalem Allocates Land for New Central Minyan Community After Years of Effort

After years of persistent efforts and behind-the-scenes struggles, the Jerusalem Municipality has officially allocated the plot at 7 Yehuda HaMaccabi Street in the Mekor Baruch neighborhood to the new Central Minyan community led by Rabbi Mordechai Dayan. This allocation marks the conclusion of a lengthy process during which community members invested significant resources and energy to secure the site. The plot is expected to become the community's synagogue in the near future.

Deputy Mayor Haim Cohen played a key role in advancing the allocation, working determinedly with various municipal bodies to ensure the successful outcome for neighborhood residents. The community expressed gratitude to all city representatives and supporters who contributed to the achievement. With the formal allocation complete, the community can now begin preparations to open their synagogue and serve the local population.
