Police Raid Illegal Gambling Den in Ashdod After Suspects Refuse Entry

Israeli police uncovered an illegal gambling operation in Ashdod after suspects refused to open the door to officers arriving at the scene. Officers from the Ashdod police station responded to suspicions of unlawful gambling activities at the location. When police requested entry, those inside denied access, prompting the officers to forcibly enter the premises. Inside, several suspects were found allegedly participating in gambling games. During the search, police seized equipment believed to be used for running the gambling operation, including 28 decks of cards and suitcases containing gambling chips. Three suspects, believed to be in charge of the venue, were detained along with two additional participants present at the site. All five individuals were taken to the police station for further investigation.
