Illegal Gambling Venue Exposed in Southern Israel

Police raided an illegal gambling site in the city of Kiryat Gat on Thursday. During the operation, officers found the business owner, an employee and several players at the scene.
Items allegedly used to operate and manage illegal gambling were also seized, including computers and additional equipment.
Those present were taken in for questioning at the Kiryat Gat police station.
Sub.-Lt. Shai Elali, commander of the Kiryat Gat station, said: "The officers are working in a focused manner against crime centers that harm residents' sense of security and quality of life. The activity against illegal gambling houses is part of the ongoing fight against crime, and we will continue proactive enforcement and locating those involved."
