Israeli Police Raid Illegal Gambling Den in Hadera Seizing Cash and Equipment

Israeli police uncovered an illegal gambling operation in a residential apartment in Hadera during a raid conducted under a search warrant. Authorities seized tens of thousands of shekels in cash, hundreds of euros, and thousands of dollars, along with various equipment suspected to be used for running gambling activities. Several suspects present at the scene were detained and taken to the police station for further questioning regarding the illicit operation.

During the search, police dismantled seven security cameras installed in and around the premises. These cameras reportedly recorded public areas frequented by residents and passersby, raising concerns about privacy violations. Police emphasized that the cameras were placed in a manner that infringed on the privacy of the local community.

The Israeli police stated that their crackdown on illegal gambling venues and crime hotspots will continue. They plan to maintain efforts through searches, confiscations, and investigations to reduce criminal activity and ensure public safety.
