Israeli Police Shut Down Illegal Gambling Operation Inside Kiryat Malakhi Pub

The Southern District Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Haim Bublil, ordered the administrative closure of a pub in Kiryat Malakhi that was operating as an illegal gambling venue. This action followed a focused enforcement operation by Kiryat Malakhi police targeting gambling offenses and key crime figures in the city. During the operation, authorities uncovered the establishment's illicit gambling activities.

Following the discovery, licensing officers from the Kiryat Malakhi police station and the Lachish region moved to close the venue. Chief Superintendent Bublil signed a 30-day administrative closure order for the pub. The business owner was detained for questioning at the police station and released under restrictive conditions.

The investigation file will be forwarded to the Southern District Licensing Prosecution Unit to consider pressing charges and potentially extending the business closure until the legal proceedings conclude.
