Man in His 30s Dies After Car Crashes Into Fence in Jerusalem

A man in his early 30s died following a severe car accident in Jerusalem on Friday. The vehicle collided with a fence near the Allenby Terminal junction on Adoniyahu HaCohen Street. Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) treated the man at the scene, finding him unconscious and without pulse or breathing, with serious head and chest injuries. He was rushed to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital in critical condition while undergoing prolonged resuscitation efforts. Despite these efforts, medical staff declared him dead shortly after arrival.

Eli Raymond, a paramedic from MDA's motorcycle unit, described the victim's critical state and the life-saving measures taken during the rescue. Jerusalem district traffic accident investigators arrived promptly to examine the circumstances of the crash, which police have classified as a single-vehicle accident. The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
